Meet Sofia Geideby: A Life Driven by Creativity and Collaboration

For Sofia Geideby, hairstyling is about more than just shaping hair—it's about creativity, collaboration, and always pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the salon. With 25 years in the industry, Sofia has honed her craft while continually exploring new ways to bring out the best in her clients' hair.

As part of the talented team at Little Faktory, Sofia feels like she’s already living her dream collaboration, working alongside other passionate and creative professionals who inspire her every day. Her drive to keep evolving and challenging herself makes her one of the most sought-after hairstylists in the industry.

The Magic of Collaboration and Creativity

Q: Dream collaboration?
"Honestly, I feel like I’m already living my dream collaboration with all the incredible hairstylists at Little Faktory. Working with such creative and passionate people every day is truly inspiring."

Q: Go-to coffee order?
"Well, I actually just quit coffee—it messed up my stomach. But I’m completely obsessed with English Breakfast Tea and PG Tips. I drink it strong, with just the right amount of milk—not too little, not too much. It has to be strong yet creamy. And honestly, I probably drink close to ten cups a day."

Q: Current song obsession?
"Lately, I’ve had Moby’s album Play on repeat. It’s a bit nostalgic for me—I was in my twenties in the early 2000s, and it takes me right back. Quick music update! Right now, I’ve got ‘Becky and the Birds’ on repeat. Thea just won Best Producer at the Swedish Grammy Awards, and I’ve been hooked on her latest record ever since. It’s honestly incredible—if you haven’t heard her yet, you really need to check her out!"

Q: One piece of advice for a new stylist?
"No fear. It’s just hair—it grows back. Stay curious, keep exploring, and never stop pushing yourself. That’s where the real fun is."

With 25 years of experience, Sofia continues to push herself to new limits, drawing inspiration from her colleagues, her clients, and the music that fills her day.
